Admissions

Our school staff are always happy to help with admissions and a warm welcome awaits when you come to look round and meet us.

Pupils transfer from Holy Trinity Infant School at the age of seven. Children in Year 2 visit the Junior School during the summer term and our Year 3 staff also visit the Infant School. Parents of new children are invited to an evening meeting where they can find out about the school and meet staff.

New pupils are admitted according to the LA’s admissions policy. Children living in the school’s catchment area are normally offered a place at the school. Applications from parents living out of the catchment area should be made to the Harrogate Education Office - link below. The current planned admissions number is 67 children per year group. Prospective parents are welcome to look around the school and should contact the school office to make an appointment. Parents wishing to enrol their children should complete an admission form and parental preference form - link below.

Most pupils transfer from Holy Trinity CE Junior School to the two Ripon secondary schools – Ripon Grammar School and Outwood Academy – although some parents opt to send their children to schools in neighbouring towns.   Parents must complete a preference form listing their choice of secondary schools.
