Exciting Esk News!

We have had a lovely week in Esk!
In English we have been learning how to use inverted commas to show what someone is saying. Here are some examples!
"Did you know that the 1st underground trains were red steam trains?" said Troy.
"There are 1000 grams in a kilogram, " said Scarlett.
"In Spanish las naranjas means oranges", said Darcy.
Below is the link to the inverted commas song we have learnt!

In Maths we started a new topic, 'Mass and Capacity'. We have been measuring items and reading scales in grams and kilograms.
In Learning Means the World we have been looking at maps. We have used the compass points to describe where places are. We also learnt how to use grid references, we know to go along the corridor and up the stairs!
In RE we have spotted the differences between an adult and child baptism. Adults are immersed underwater whilst children have water poured onto their foreheads.
