Aire Class Blog
Welcome to the Aire Class Blog
This week, when we returned to school after the half-term break, a most peculiar thing happened. All our chairs had disappeared! We had to write a letter of complaint in which we needed to persuade Mr Brightwell to return our chairs! Liam was confused and not too happy about sitting on the floor because it was hard to see the board. Poppy said she thought they had been taken to be cleaned but then realised we didn't have them for our lessons. We then started to look at our new book, The Day The Crayons Quit by Drew Daywalt.
In Maths, we have begun to learn more about fractions. We have been looking at mixed numbers. Eddie said he found this hard at first, but it's getting easier. Brooke is enjoying the challenge of learning about mixed numbers.
In PE we have started to learn how to play Netball. We have been practising our ball skills and our communication skills.
In Science, we used iron filings and magnets to learn about the magnetic field. We drew what we observed in our books. Bella thought it was weird that the iron filings could make the patterns. Noah said he also found it strange how the iron filings reacted to the magnet.
