Welcome to Aire Class Blog

This week in P.E we have started a new Gymnastic module. Kaihan says we have been looking at movement in different positions, like a crab and a camel. Max found the crab the hardest because you had to walk sideways.

In Maths, we have continued our work with fractions and have been learning about improper fractions and mixed numbers. Brooke found it quite difficult to begin with but says she is finding it easier now and fun too!

In English, we have been writing letters of complaint from various different everyday objects. Zara wrote from the perspective of a drill who keeps getting forgotten about on a shelf, which she found it fun to write about. Isaac imagined he was a hand-whisk who wanted an upgrade to be electric as no-one uses him any more, and he's broken.

In Learning Means The World we have been role-playing the early life of Harold Godwinson as part of learning about the Anglo-Saxons. Harriet enjoyed it because we had different scenes, and we could act each one out. Everybody also noticed how much Kaihan was using his acting abilities with a brilliant portrayal of the ghost of Godwin (Harold's father).
