Aire Class Action!
Welcome to this week's Aire class blog.
This week in Maths we have continued with our Fractions learning. We have looked at equivalent fractions and how to use a fraction wall. Bella says she found it confusing at first but with practice it became much easier.
We have started learning about a journey down a river in English. We have read the book "A RIver" by Max Martin. Our first piece of writing was to write about us daydreaming while looking out of the classroom window and going on an imaginary journey. Our writing needed to include prepositions. Max went on a journey around Ripon, passing the park and into the Ripon Square. Arayn crossed the road to the park and kept walking until you found some fields.
In Learning Means the World, we have formed a Witton Council to decide who will be the next King of England (in Anglo-Saxon times!) and we have been writing arguments for Harold Godwinson, Harold Hardrada, William of Normandy and Edgar Atheling stating their claim to the throne.
