Wharfe Wows Science Week!

We have been celebrating  National Science Week!

We have been looking at how the Arctic is changing and the effect this has on the planet. We explored data trends of the rising temperatures over the last 50 years and how this has impacted the Arctic and habitats and examined why ice is important. We then experimented and recorded the length of time that ice took to melt using different temperatures and linked this to the climate change and greenhouse gases.

In our English we have concluded our non-chronological report writing on volcanoes by creating a final copy with diagrams and images.

In Maths we are revising long multiplication, focussing on challenging word problems.
