Wonderful Wensley Blog

Welcome to Wensley!

Wensley have been enjoying PE in the sunshine today! They have been using maps to find clues and a code. Kacper says, "It has been really nice to work out how to use a map and wander around the school grounds with your friends and crack codes."

In Maths, Roseanne has really enjoyed comparing decimals and learning about decimal places. She said, "It was new learning and I found it lots of fun." We have also been rounding decimals with 2 decimal places to the nearest integer.  We love Maths in Wensley!

In English, we have finished reading about Shackleton's expedition and we are relieved that all the crew survived. Phew! We are now very busy planning and writing our own diary entry from the point of view of one of Shackleton's crew.  We look forward to sharing some with you soon.

We have finished our Learning Means the World topic this week with some research on water and how important it is for our bodies.  We have been looking at the water content of lots of different foods and how water moves through our bodies.
