Wensley Class

Welcome to another week in Wensley Class!
Well, what a busy week we have had! As you can see from the picture, we have started a wonderful new book in Guided Reading. We are full of so many questions about the story and we have been predicting what the story could be about from the images on the front cover. We met a couple of interesting characters, including Maia, Miss Minton and Clovis; we are very excited to find out what happens next!
In Maths, we have been tackling percentages! We have really enjoyed how they link with decimals and fractions. I am please to share children have worked so hard on understanding fractions, they have spotted the links very well! I am very impressed and proud!
We have been out and about with our orienteering lessons with sporting influence. We are getting much better at being able to orientate and read maps. We have some budding Bear Grylls of the future, I have no doubt!
We finished today with a lesson in Dance from Sam (Schools Out). She definitely put us all through our paces to some brilliant music. A very good time was had by all!
