As we move through the school year, working with government guidance, we are staying true to our school vision and ethos in all areas of school life.
Our Christian Vision
‘A community of learning and growing in a culture of respect.’
In all things you yourself must be an example of good behaviour.
Be sincere and serious in your teaching.
What and how we teach our children is a key consideration at all times and not just for now. We are conscious of the time children have missed being at school and with such a fantastic effort from our school community to engage in daily home learning during lockdown, we return to school with a positive outlook and ‘on track’ approach.
Being ready to learn and knowing how to learn are essential skills for making progress. With this in mind, we will be working with your child to demonstrate age-related learning behaviours. We are also employing strategies to ensure the key knowledge and concepts which were missed or partially taught during lockdown are clearly linked to the new learning and current curriculum.
