Federation of Holy Trinity CE Schools - Key Stage 1
If you wish your child to join Key stage 1, please contact the school office in the first instance on 01765 603911, to have a chat and discuss your child's requirements. Alternatively you may prefer to email firstname.lastname@example.org. You can view our School's Admission Policy on the policies page of this website.
We follow the LA admissions guidelines. The LA sets the number of admissions each year, with the approval of the governing body. Our published admission number (PAN) is currently 60 pupils. Where the number of children applying to start exceeds this limit, places are allocated in accordance with the LA criteria, as set out in their admissions documents. All admissions to The Federation of Holy Trinity CE Schools have to be approved by Harrogate Education Office prior to the child starting. Parents will need to complete a preference form for children seeking entry into reception.
When a child applies to join the school during the year, parents are welcome to come and visit us and meet with the Headteacher, who will be able to answer any questions you may have.
Federation of Holy Trinity CE Schools - Key Stage 2
Pupils transfer from Key stage 1 at the age of seven, following the NYCC formal admission process. Children in Year 2, granted a place at Key Stage 2 visit during the summer term and the Year 3 staff also visit the Key stage 1 site. Parents of new children are invited to an evening meeting where they can find out about the school and meet staff.
New pupils are admitted according to the LA’s admissions policy. Children living in the school’s catchment area are normally offered a place at the school. Applications from parents living out of the catchment area should be made to the Harrogate Education Office - link below. The current planned admissions number is 60 children per year group. Prospective parents are welcome to look around the school and should contact the school office to make an appointment. Parents wishing to enrol their children should complete an admission form and parental preference form - link below.
Most pupils transfer from Federation of Holy Trinity CE Schools - Key stage 2 to the two Ripon secondary schools – Ripon Grammar School and Outwood Academy – although some parents opt to send their children to schools in neighbouring towns. Parents must complete a preference form listing their choice of secondary schools.
