With all the anticipation of some heavy snow fall this week, Wharfe was very disappointed that it never materialised! 

Instead, the class channelled their efforts into filling the week full of different activities. 

In English, we are looking at creating atmosphere in our setting descriptions with a focus on prepositional phrases. 

In our Learning Means the World, we have explored the ideas of radicalisation, extremism and pacifism and how this links with our conflict-based topic, War of the World.  We have looked at 4 pacifists and how their ideas and beliefs impacted the world around them: John Lennon, Gandhi, Dirk Willem and Olive Schreiner.

Hockey and badminton have both been played this week, with the children taking turns to be part of the teams and referee matches.
