Ribble's Class Blog
Welcome to another wonderful week with Ribble!
As you might be able to see in the photo above, we have started a new topic in RE. We have thoroughly enjoyed creating freeze frames of the 14 'Stations of the Cross'. Everyone in the class worked well in their teams to create a freeze-frame of one of the crosses, and then we put together the story at the end of the lesson. Good effort Ribble!
As much as we were loving fractions, we have now started our 'Multiplication and Division' topic in maths. Everyone in Ribble has been trying really hard to perfect their presentation when multiplying 4-digit numbers by 1-digit numbers. Keep up the good work Ribble! Ben says that he is really enjoying doing the multiplication method again.
As we have continued to read Beowulf, the plot is increasing in excitement. We are on the edge of our seats when reading how Beowulf, a brave warrior, is putting his life on the line. Our focus has recently been on mapping out the story line and building the skill of summarising texts.
Ribble have been looking forward to getting back to doing some amazing work in their art lessons. Alex loved seeing how much progress he has made since last year and felt very proud of himself - well done everyone.
