Litton Class Blog

Wow! What a super week we have had in Litton class!

The children have come back after the Easter holidays with such enthusiasm and determination to do their very best in all of our lessons and extra revision sessions to help best prepare them for our upcoming SATs tests.

This week we  have covered a range of different topics in maths from types of triangles to converting units of measurement to name just a few! We loved taking our learning outdoors to learn about mean averages - Mrs Gomes had us all doing star jumps, sit ups and shuttle runs all in the name of making maths more active and memorable! We had to all take it in turns in our group to see how many of each move we could do in a minute, record this for each member of the group and then add all of the results together before dividing by the amount of people in our group to find the mean average! It has certainly helped us to remember this mathematical skill!

We look forward to doing lots more of these fun revision sessions over the coming weeks - we will keep you updated on them!
