As you can see, the countdown to Christmas has begun!  We had a wonderful Elf Day last week and the children made me so proud!  Wensley were so organised, caring and helpful with all the children, helping to make it an amazing day for all concerned. It definitely put us all in a very festive mood. A huge thank you to Mrs Jones for making the day possible! 

It may be almost Christmas but we are still working incredibly hard in Wensley!  In Maths, we have continued our work with fractions and dealt with some very tricky problems involving equivalence and mixed numbers. Well done for your resilience, Wensley!   

In English, we have been learning more about our poem 'Bethlehem'. We have been exploring how language can create an atmosphere and including prepositions in our descriptions. We are very excited about writing our own poetry next week. Watch this space!
