Odd Socks Day marks the start of Anti-Bullying Week. We wore odd socks to celebrate to encourage everyone to express themselves and celebrate their individuality and what makes us all unique!
On Friday 8th November our Federation held a Service of Remembrance in Spa Gardens. Padre Paul and Rev Chris led pupils, staff and parents in an act of Remembrance.
On Thursday morning, we welcomed parents in for a phonics workshop. We began in the hall, covering lots of information about how we teach phonics at Trinity and how parents can help at home - both with phonics and applying their skills to reading. We talked through all the jargon and agreed that there is a lot to learn. We are really proud of phonics at Trinity and the fabulous progress that the children make.

The children in the Infant School, along with Y3 and Y4 from the Juniors, enjoyed hearing the first few chapters of Grace's new book, 'Merlin find his Magic'. They loved hearing all about how Merlin the sheep helps Grace with her therapy work with very poorly people, and found some of the cheeky antics that Merlin gets up to very funny.
The children were astonished to find out that sheep make fabulous friends for humans!
As part of their sound science focus, Aire class experimented with a drum and dry rice! Ask a member of the class what they discovered.
