Hornblower Master Commas in a List!

Hornblower has had another industrious week. We've been practising using commas in lists to make a list of crazy creatures from The Boy Who Cried Ninja, as well as listing some incredible things we'd like at our parties in invitations we've written. We have also been looking at using conjunctions such as and, but, so and or to 'glue' sentences together.

In Maths, we've begun to look at division through grouping and sharing. Please see some of the photos below of all our hard work.

In Learning Means The World, we have been using atlases to identify the route from Peru to London via the Atlantic Ocean, as well as recapping all seven continents and the five oceans. We have also begun to consider whether only bringing marmalade sandwiches was the best approach for Paddington. Instead, we've been considering what would actually be useful for a trip to London!
