Some of our super nativity stars!

Merry Christmas One and All!

Our highlight this week has been two wonderful performances of the nativity. Even a slight technological issue in the afternoon performance couldn’t put off our amazing cast. We are extremely proud of them, and I’m sure you are as well. To see their growth in confidence across weeks of rehearsal is simply magical. Thank you for all the great support from home, particularly with learning lines and song lyrics! Charlie particularly enjoyed dancing on the stage. Lilly was delighted to remember all her lines, even though she had to learn ‘so many’! Aaliyah loved seeing her grown-up in the audience and being able to give them a big smile.

Aside from this, the class really enjoyed finding candy canes and some very exuberant dancing at the Christmas party. We also squeezed in a visit to Ripon Cathedral on Wednesday to briefly see all the nativity pictures on display that the class had done. The class were able to do this absolutely silently, as another school was rehearsing their nativity at the same time!

Thank you for all the support with reading at home and other home learning this term, and we look forward to seeing you in 2025. We wish you all a very special Christmas!
