Hornblower Class Blog

Hornblower have had an extremely busy week. We thoroughly enjoyed having our individual school photographs taken.

In Maths we have been learning about adding and subtracting across a ten. We have found this tricky, but we have used our tens frames and counters to help us!

We have been continuing our work with Bernard, the robot with no-bottom. We wrote exclamatory sentences, for example 'What a fantastic robot you are!' and 'How red you are!'.

This week in LMTW we have been sailing the high seas. We listened to a song giving us directions around the world, sailing through the 5 oceans to find the buried treasure. We then drew our own pirate maps of Madagascar labelling the physical features you find across the country.
