A Trojan horse is a type of malware that tricks users into downloading and running a program which harms the user's system. Below are our top tips for protecting yourself against a Trojan horse:
- Savannah says "Have security software downloaded on your device".
- Nancy says "keep your password private".
- Emily says "Change your password regularly".
- Renee says "Don't click on emails or pop-ups if you don't know who they are from".
- Charlotte says "Download things from trusted sites".
- Troy says "Use two factor verification on your device like fingerprint ID or face ID".
- Hannah says "Remember to log off a device after you have used it".
