We are really excited to launch our new class blog!
We have started our new LMTW unit called 'Athens v Sparta'. On Monday we tasted a range of Greek food. Annalise really enjoyed the Greek yogurt, Scarlett's favourite was the halloumi cheese whilst Dexter preferred the pitta bread. The olives were not a class favourite! Darcy said they were disgusting!
In Maths, we have been adding and subtracting numbers. We solved calculations by making an estimate. This was tricky but we all persevered!
In English we have started our new text called 'Myth Atlas'. We learnt that myths are old tales that contain magical creatures, gods and goddesses and mystery. Our book contains myths from around the world. We particularly enjoyed finding out about the Irish mythology, especially the creature Elatha who had his own boat.
We are continuing with our weekly swimming lessons. We enjoyed waving at the different vans and lorries on the way back. Some even beeped their horns at us which was very exciting!
Please keep checking for more blog posts!
