Aire Class Blog

Here is the latest news from Aire Class

This week has been another busy week in Aire class. Our preparations for our Nativity production are continuing with more practice at Holy Trinity Church. It has been exciting to have Year 3 join us for our rehearsals, adding their wonderful singing to our production. Brooke is looking forward to showing people what we have been doing and is excited about the final performances.

In English, we have been learning about biographies. This week the focus has been looking at features of biographies, so we will be able to write our own. Max says that a biography is when you write about another person and what they have done. Kieran is enjoying learning about famous people like Usain Bolt.

We have been learning the ai, ay and a-e sounds in spelling. Archie said he found it tricky but fun.

We have been playing hockey in P.E and using a reverse-stick technique to control the ball on the far side of our bodies. Zara has enjoyed playing hockey and Liam said it's not easy to control the ball. Bella is glad she is more confident now as she was worried she might hit someone with her stick when we first started!

Aire class has its Christmas decorations and our advent calendar is up! Nicholas likes the decorations and the Christmas pictures we have drawn on the advent calendar envelopes.
