Swale News

Welcome to our latest news!

We have had a great last week term. We have worked hard finishing our Fractions unit and are looking forward to our next Maths challenge!

In English, we have been using a text called A River. We have been using lots of grammar concepts, such as fronted adverbials, prepositional phrases and using adverbs with our verbs to add meaning. Ivy said she has enjoyed completing her final draft and edits.

In LMTW, we have finished our topic on Anglo-Saxons. We have reflected on our big question "Who was Harold Godwinson?" and have learnt how he was the last Anglo-Saxon King of England and the importance of this to British history. Avianna said she really enjoyed learning about his life and his importance.

Our Easter fun day gave us the opportunity to reflect on spring and the importance of Easter to Christians, and we spent time outside doing Bunny relays and enjoying the spring sunshine! Matthew said it was amazing and he enjoyed it!
