Merry Christmas from Swale
Happy Christmas!
We have had a lovely week in Swale. After our fantastic production last week, the children were so happy to sing their favourite song in church again this week. Thank you to everyone who came to watch and provide costumes.
In English, children completed their biography of Emmeline Pankhurst. This has been a fascinating unit of work and the children have really enjoyed learning about different women in history.
We have continued multiplication and division in Maths and been focussing on x10 x100 and using base 10 to help us think about 'equal groups'.
In Guided Reading we have continued looking at poetry and have been looking at a poem called 'The Frozen Man' and looking at figurative language.
We hope you all have a lovely Christmas, and we look forward to welcoming all the children back in the New Year,
