Litton Class Blog
It is feeling very festive here in Litton class this week and yet despite all of the excitement, Year 6 continue to work very hard in all of their learning.
Last week saw us dressing up and enjoying Elf day - Mina really enjoyed the chance to let her hair down a bit after working so hard in all her work. Tilly, as well as many other children, loved the opportunity to go and see the Y3 and Y4 Christmas dress rehearsal - she was really impressed with the effort and time they had put into it.
On Thursday, the children were delighted to see Mrs Treasure in singing assembly - the smiles on their faces really summed up how much we have all missed her. Hopefully we will see a little more of her around school soon.
We also took part in some super group work on Thursday and created some excellent presentations all about World War 1 and World War 2. Charlotte thought this was a wonderful way of demonstrating their learning and their creativity. Alice and Nina have really enjoyed playing with friends this week and all of our class are very excited for the events of next week!
As a reminder, we have a very busy day on Thursday coming up - we are at church at 9.15 (all families welcome) then we will have Christmas dinner and in the afternoon we will have a Christmas party! The children can wear their Christmas jumpers as well as their party outfit on this day too!
