Our new Learning Means the World topic is centred around the theme of 'conflict' and is entitled, 'Wars of the World.' We will be learning all about past and current Wars of the World as well as delving into some PSHE related work around friendship and conflict. We have used guided reading to find out some key inofrmation about the 'Great War' and have been shocked by some of the facts of this terrible time. In maths we are moving on to look at long division and how to use our knowledge of factors and multiples to help with this. We are also beginning a writing unit in English all around Merlin and King Arthur. Some of you may remember the old TV series so please tell us all about it to inspire us with our writing!
