What's happening in Wharfe?
Crime Scene!
Another busy week is drawing to a close.
In English, we have started to create the first draft of our writing, which is a guide to being a superhero or supervillain.
In Maths, we have been practising adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing fractions.
We were able to enjoy time on all the apparatus in the hall for PE. It was wonderful to watch the children scamper up the climbing frames and ladders and challenge each other to how fast they could climb to the top!
To finish off our Learning Means the World topic called True Crime, we had a Crime Scene Investigator come in to Year 6 and demonstrate how evidence is collected. We were able to look at fingerprints, footprints and DNA. What an informative talk!
