In English we read the story ‘We’re Going on an Elf Chase.’ We counted the elves in the book and talked about where they were hiding. We have made letters to Santa and practised our name writing. 

In Maths we have looked at repeating patterns. We have made repeating patterns with coloured blocks, fingerprint candy canes and fingerprint Christmas lights.

In Phonics we listened for the ‘m’ initial sound in words and could sort picture cards into words that started with the ‘m’ sound and words that started with a different sound.  

In Learning Means the World we have talked about Christmas. We had a lovely Christmas party and even met Father Christmas.
