What a fantastic week we have had back to start our summer term! It has been lovely being out on the playground, running around in the sunshine!
We have been learning about measurement in Maths. This week we looked at a thermometer and measuring the temperature in degrees Celsius. We all agreed that we were happier now the temperatures were getting warmer outside!
We have made a fabulous start to our Learning Means The World topic of 'Going Wild!'. We explored different animals through mime, acting out how they would move in their habitat. This half term, we cannot wait to take our learning outside of the classroom and see the mother and baby animals at Bland Close Farm. A survey has been sent out to all parents about this. Please feel free to ask any questions!
In English, we have been going back to basics. We started off the week by writing about what we had done during the Easter holidays. We added as much detail as we could using adjectives and adverbs!
