  • A1 Multi-Sports

    Published 25/01/24

On Tuesday and Wednesday this week, we welcomed Kane from A1 Multi-Sports into school. Kane teaches children a range of accessible sports, raising the profile of a wide-range of sporting opportunities.

Kane was inspiring with his enthusiasm and understanding and gave the children in years 2 to 6 an experience that has spread the joy through school!

The sessions have been organised as part of our Sport Premium Funding offer and were carefully researched in order to encourage all pupils to participate in a wider range of sports.

Before leaving on Tuesday, Kane was keen to share his feedback, saying, "Both the staff and children were all a credit to your school today throughout the sessions. It’s been a pleasure delivering so far, and I look forward to delivering tomorrow!"

We can't wait for Kane to come back - watch this space for more news and photos!

  • Mystery Mosaic

    Published 25/01/24

At the end of last term, we discovered a mosaic under a display board in the infant school! Coincidently, at the same time Ms Needham found an article on social media about mosaic which was created by students from the Ripon College. This article from the Ripon Gazette reports that the students based the children in the mosaic on pupils at Holy Trinity Infants. The picture in the Gazette shows the students receiving Easter Eggs as a thank you. The mosaic is 50 years old in April! We would love to find these students and pupils to invite them back to school – there may even be an Easter Eggs waiting for them!

If you have any information about the mosaic or the people in the picture please email headteacher@htceschools.co.uk
