Y6 SATs meeting
Published 12/11/23Thank you to the Y6 parents who attended our meeting this week. It was a great opportunity to share expectations for Y6 pupils and 'bust' some of the myths surrounding Y6 SATs. The news that Y6 pupils are invited into school early during SATS week to join together in a communal breakfast proved popular news as ever!
The presentation used on the evening is available below for your reference.
Please do ask if you have any questions regarding statutory assessments in Y6 - Mrs Sanderson, Mrs Bell-Walker and Mrs Gomes all have a wealth of experience in administering and leading SATs and are happy to discuss all aspects of the assessments.

Remembrance 2023
Published 11/11/23We were incredibly proud of our pupils this morning as the school attended our Act of Remembrance in Spa Gardens. Our service was led by Padre Rev Stephen Wilson. As Jackson lowered our Little Heros flag, the Last Post was sounded and the whole school fell silent. The silence was broken by the Reveille and Liam with the words;
When you go home, tell them of us and say, for your tomorrow, we gave their today.
Poignant readings from Archie, Sophie, Lillianna, Mickey and Mrs Jones made us reflect on the bravery and sacrifice of the names listed on the Spa Gardens memorial. Mr Maher, Daisy and Klay laid wreaths as a mark of Remembrance from our Holy Trinity Community. Rev Michelle ended our service with a blessing.

Mrs Calland-Brooke's Worship
Published 26/10/23Today, Mrs Calland-Brooke led a worship at KS2 that encouraged us to think about having faith and
trust in God. We heard a bible story called 'The Storm On The Lake' and we talked about how we can put our trust and faith in God when times are tricky. Some of the children from Nidd class helped Mrs Calland-Brooke with her worship and did a great job of reminding us what trust is and what it is to be trustworthy!

Appeal for baby clothes!
Published 18/10/23At Holy Trinity we are inspired by the story of the Good Samaritan to help our neighbours, both locally, nationally and globally. During a visit to South Africa, Rev Michelle visited a mission which helps new mothers. Many new mothers arrive at the mission in need of basic provisions for their newborn babies.
Next week, head of this mission outreach, Ghila is visiting Ripon. The school would like to support the work of Ghila's mission. We are asking for donations of good quality pre-loved baby clothes (birth to 6 months). Ghila will collect these and take them back to South Africa. Please bring any clothes you can donate to school by Wednesday 25th October.
