PSHE
Our PSHE is lead by Mrs Gomes.
Meet Yogi! Yogi helps us to understand our spiritual, moral, cultural, mental and physical development and how that can help to prepare us for the opportunities, responsibilities and experiences of life as we grow up.
PSHE and Relationships Education is an essential part of our pupil’s education as it enables them to develop the knowledge, skills and understanding they will need to become informed, healthy, active, independent and responsible citizens.
Our programme of study identifies the key concepts and skills that underpin PSHE education and helps our school to fulfil our statutory responsibility to support pupils’ spiritual, moral, cultural, mental and physical development and prepare them for the opportunities, responsibilities and experiences of life. At The Federation of Holy Trinity Church of England Schools, we believe that the personal, social and health development of each child, in conjunction with their citizenship skills, has a significant role in their ability to learn. We value the importance of PSHE and Citizenship in preparing our children for the opportunities, responsibilities and experiences of adult life. In addition, we believe that every child needs to learn about the many emotional aspects of life and how to manage their own emotions.
